The weather stayed fair despite the awful forecast given for the planned day at Greystoke Castle. This session with the school was a part of a series of days building up to a trip to a fishery in June. One group in the morning and a younger group in the afternoon.
The groups were split into two, one half fishing on the lake and the other half having some fun learning to fly cast on the grass and with a little competition thrown in.
There was some pretty good fly casting going on with everyone helping each other to get the best performance.
More than half the group were hitting the targets eight times out of ten after a little practice!
Start them young!
